Youth For Christ is preparing to launch its new five-year Strategic Ministry Growth Plan, set to begin on July 1, 2025. This plan outlines ambitious goals for targeted multiplication and innovation, all driven by a data-informed, faith-filled approach. The goals include the expansion of the ministry, but the primary focus is on empowering the next generation to live boldly for Christ.
According to YFC President and CEO Jake Bland, “Today’s young people are facing crises like never before. I believe God has uniquely positioned YFC to help uncover God’s story of hope in the next generation. The Gospel of Christ is as powerful and as effective as ever. Kids need to know that the God of the universe loves them, that He Cares for them and that He wants to offer them eternal and abundant life through His son Jesus.”
YFC USA has seen three consecutive years of growth during our current three-year strategic plan, completing this phase of growth on June 30, 2025. The organization is poised to build on this momentum with several key initiatives:
- Technology improvements: YFC USA will implement new systems to better track ministry outcomes and impact. By combining data with a faith-forward approach, the organization aims to scale the most fruitful and effective ministries.
- Faithful staff and volunteers: Maintaining a healthy, Christ-centered mission is paramount. YFC USA is committed to raising up leaders who abide in Christ and share the Gospel. The organization believes that healthy leaders and a strong culture will yield the best ministry outcomes.
- Expand ministry: Strategic expansion is planned for Campus Life, Juvenile Justice Ministry and the Rebalance mental health wellness pilot. These initiatives are designed to reach more youth and address their diverse needs.

These new growth initiatives are a culmination of the foundational work that God has been doing over the past few years. The current strategic plan focuses on:
- Innovation: Understanding today’s changing youth landscape, YFC USA remains “geared to the times but anchored to the Rock.” The organization has utilized piloted innovations to effectively serve today’s youth.
- Young Leaders: Investing in the next generation of leaders, enabling them to know, experience and share Jesus and His Word.
- Collaboration: Sharing insights about Gen Z and Gen Alpha with the broader Body of Christ.
- Growth: Offering growth grants to chapters equipped to multiply ministry sites.
YFC USA is moving forward with these exciting initiatives at the pace and provision that God provides, confident that this new strategic plan will further their mission to reach young people across the nation.
