Position Purpose
The Campus Life Director (CLD) is responsible for overseeing the operations of all Campus Life HS activities on the west side of Oahu. This covers 5-7 ministry sites. The CLD will ensure all Campus Life HS staff and volunteers will complete all necessary training and manage their input of information into the Impact system. The CLD will manage, train, supervise and evaluate all staff and volunteers/Interns in the West Oahu area.
This position also includes direct oversight of the following:
To manage and coordinate all Campus Life duties at the following high schools: Campbell, Kapolei, Mililani, Nanakuli, Waianae and Waipahu. The employee will manage contact with school administration, student leaders, volunteers and church partners. Employee will conduct and oversee all activities related to relational ministry consistent with YFC CL HS processes and RMA's. Employee will oversee the spiritual development of youth, student leaders, volunteers and any interns under their supervision.
Employee will work toward the goal of having 40 to 60 students per club, 7 to 15 student leaders for each club. Each club should be supported be 2 volunteers, an intern and a prayer covering.
Hours and Time
This position is design for full time employment. This may require working on weekdays and some holidays. You may be required to work irregular hours. YFC Hawaii is looking for a minimum of 3 years commitment.
The Ministry Site Director is a position that requires spiritual and organizational leadership skills, the ability to work with and through other people, and strong communication skills. S/he must embrace and build a team that embodies YFC’s Cultural Attributes: Christ-centered, enduring humility, relentless trust, courageous faithfulness, joyful camaraderie, and kingdom inspired diversity. S/he will seek to implement relational ministry actions to develop Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people within the context of their YFC ministry model.
