Position Summary

Here are some aspects of the program that NextGen Leadership interns can expect:

·      Working with 11-19 year old youth in public schools, underserved neighborhoods, and juvenile detention facilities

·      Mentoring and discipling of youth participants

·      Planning and working large scale events like fundraisers and camps

·      Opportunities to grow in public speaking, leading groups, co-facilitating trainings, etc.

·      Real-time feedback from YFC’s Directors and/or Site Coordinators

·      Building relational capital among community members, other non-profit/church leaders, governmental agencies, business leaders, and more

·      Connecting with other YFC leaders & youth workers from around the United States

·      Opportunities to learn basics of non-profit business and governance

Position Requirements

This one-year commitment is designed to provide intensive coaching, training, and equipping in general ministry, non-profit operations, and youth related work.
