The Ministry Coordinator ensures effective best practices, tasks, and Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs) of YFC’s ministries and programs in local schools and/or neighborhoods. This full-time role (40 hours/week) requires managing ministry site efforts, organizing weekly clubs/outreaches, and overseeing volunteer recruitment and training. Ministry is holistic, aimed at empowering youth toward abundant life—spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and physically—while ensuring the Gospel is faithfully and relationally presented.
Essential Functions
· Ministry Responsibilities (60%)
Manage ministry sites (school clubs/City Life programs); share Scripture; plan lessons and outreach events; support youth and families; partner with local organizations; conduct Love Notes curriculum; maintain Gospel focus weekly.
· Volunteer Coordination (15%)
Recruit, train, and lead volunteers; provide pastoral care; equip volunteers to model YFC values.
· Team Participation (10%)
Attend team meetings; lead Scripture-based discussions; complete leadership development; collaborate with team members.
· Admin & Communication (5%)
Track data; provide reports; prepare materials; communicate with volunteers, youth, and families.
· Financial Partner Development (5%)
Build/support donor relationships; communicate regularly with supporters; engage in fundraising efforts.
· Spiritual Responsibilities (5%)
Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

Knowledge & Skills
Ability to lead/train teams, advocate for youth, communicate across diverse settings, uphold boundaries, and balance spiritual/professional expectations.
· Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2+ years in a similar role preferred.
· Training
Participation in YFC’s leadership development processes is expected.
· Software/Travel
Fundraising Responsibilities
All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.
