Internship Summary:

This is a one-year commitment, starting in August and ending in July. This internship serves at a YFC ministry site weekly connecting with kids in 3-Story relationships. Interns share the gospel and invite kids to connect with Jesus and become part of a local church community. This internship will provide you with ongoing training throughout the year to equip you in areas like evangelism, ministry, trauma, discipleship, public speaking, and more.

About Paid Internships:

Internships are designed to provide practical experience and training for the intern and are not the same as a staff or volunteer position. Internships are educational in nature and allow the intern proper experience to discover their passion and calling in vocational ministry. Internships are intended to last for the school year, beginning in August and ending in July.

Paid internship stipends are given to offset living costs and are paid on the 20th of every month. Interns are solely responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes from the income of the stipend.

A person who is hired as an intern will not change to a different status merely because of the completion of a specific length of time in service with YFC. A change in status will occur only if YFC advises the intern of a change in writing. Interns are not eligible for any employee benefits except those mandated by applicable law.

The internship will include required orientation and training. Additional training opportunities throughout the year will be communicated in advance. The internship may be modified or canceled at any time and for any reason by either party.
