Position Summary

Position Summary

Direct Ministry for Conniston Middle School, develop and support your ministry team (Adult Leaders, Prayer Partners, and Giving Partners. Utilize a balanced RMA approach to building Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with kids.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Holistic Leadership Development
    • Participation (bi-weekly) in Advanced Leadership Institute
    • Sharpening spiritual, personal, and professional skills through both hands-on training and classroom learning
    • Talent and Gifting development
  • Manage Ministry Site
    • Plan and implement ministry
    • Balanced RMA approach - accomplished with ministry team
      • Contacting (1X/week)
      • Club (1X/week)
      • Small Groups (1X/week)
      • Building Times (2X/week)
      • Appointments (2X/month)
      • Trips/Events (all plays or quarterly, Camp)
      • Approx. 20 hours/month in prep and execution
  • Develop Ministry Team
    • Recruit, Encourage and Equip Team members
    • Monthly Team meetings/appointments
  • Engage Partners (3-5 hours/month)
    • Engage partners monthly through group or personal connection
      • letters, handwritten notes, personal calls
      • ministering to your partners in the ministry
      • create and communicate prayer needs to your prayer team
    • Invite others to the mission of YFC
      • extending invitations to community events, etc.
      • recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC partner contacts

Secondary Responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting weekly schedule
  • Attend Leader of Leader meetings each month
  • Coaching meeting with Ministry Director & Partner Engagement Director monthly
  • Admin Work - (2-4 hours/month)

Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

Fundraising Responsibilities

All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.
