The Ministry Site Intern is designed to give individuals an introduction to Christian Ministry. It is a combination of learning from experienced Youth for Christ employees while also providing opportunities for hands-on ministry experience. The position assists Site Directors in planning summer activities, YFCamp, and fall curriculum. You will assist in relationally leading teens while also serving as a YFC ambassador in all interactions with the community. Most importantly, you will be sharing your faith with teens as an overflow of your own faith journey.
Within the role of Ministry Intern, you will have the opportunity to grow in your understanding of YFC ministry through personal & cohort-based coaching built around our Cultural Attributes (Christ-centered, enduring humility, relentless trust, courageous faithfulness, joyful camaraderie, and kingdom-inspired diversity) while also implementing YFC Relational Ministry Actions (contacting, building times, club, small groups, appointments, and Core) to develop Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people. You will also actively participate in Staff Meetings and Chapter-wide events (Golf Outing & YFC Camp).

Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate, and encourage lifelong disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

Fundraising Responsibilities
All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fundraising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.
