Position Summary

The Intern position with Greater Iowa Youth for Christ is an educational and experiential opportunity to grow in non-profit operations and ministry leadership. We will discuss the major areas of leadership formation, ministry, development, and operations. Through this opportunity, you will get to see behind the curtain of how a ministry operates. Our desire is that this internship will allow you the time and exposure to discern if vocational ministry or nonprofit leadership are the appropriate assignment for you.

As a part of this internship, we will expect that you will serve alongside a site or ministry director to learn and perform all the duties required for excellence in that ministry role. We will also offer you opportunities to grow in your skillset and engage directly with students. For all campus life interns, you will be required to attend multiple events throughout the summer and your capstone work will be at summer camp in late July and mid August.

This internship will go from June 1, 2026 - August 15, 2026.

A stipend will be paid for select interns based on potential funding sources and other qualifying criteria.
