Position Summary

Supervisor: Director of Community Outreach &Training

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Responsible for participating in anti-trafficking coalitions, safe harbor staffing, etc. to provide consultation, screening, and wraparound service recommendations for trafficked and exploited youth.
  • Responsible for increasing access to care for youth who have been trafficked and/or are at significant risk of trafficking who are engaged in juvenile justice system and/or as a preventative to involvement in.
  • Responsible to present Gracehaven continuum of care to partners in regional area and proactively reaching out to all potential referral sources to increase referral base.
  • Responsible to provide wraparound service consultation, advocacy, and coordination
  • Responsible to Provide Prevention, Intervention and Psychoeducation Curriculums
  • Facilitate and promoting Family Engagement and Collaborative Partnerships with Community Stakeholders.
  • Responsible to Keep Accurate and Up to date Records and Data
  • Responsible to Provide Optional Faith-Based Opportunities for Clients based on their initiation
  • Performs related duties as assigned by program supervisor or director.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Coalitions and Partnerships

  • Responsible for participating in anti-trafficking coalitions, safe harbor staffing, etc. to provide consultation, screening, and wraparound service recommendations for trafficked and exploited youth.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with other like-minded coalition members to enhance Gracehaven’s capacity to serve and provide wrap around care to youth and families who have been impacted by human trafficking and exploitation.
  • Identify potential mentor matches with other agencies
  • Actively increase access to care & services by expanding Gracehaven’s referral base throughout Ohio, through proactive outreach, presentations, connections, and initiating collaborative partnerships (MOUs, letters of support, etc.).
  • Track all referral base and network activity in defined systems.

Provide Consultation and Screening:

  • Responsible to provide consultation, Human Trafficking Risk screening & assessment, and wraparound service recommendations for trafficked and exploited youth.
  • Responsible to attend safe harbor program stiffing’s throughout the state of Ohio Juvenile Courts to provide consultation and wraparound referral coordination.
  • Advocate for youth as they navigate complex systems of care

Provide Trauma Informed and Responsive Care Training

  • Responsible to coordinate and provide CSEC Training to Gracehaven’s network of partners, as well as those we are reaching out to, in an effort to establish partnerships with.
  • Provide educational material to assist network in accessing wraparound services for youth who have been trafficked and/or are at risk of exploitation.
  • Assist in Public Speaking and trainings as needed.

Keep accurate and Up to date Records and Data

  • Document and submit receipt of record for credit card expenses, mileage, and reimbursements for accountability and good stewardship
  • Make sure all data reports are accurate, up to date and timely.
  • Use all data reporting systems appropriately.
  • Report monthly data in accordance with grant requirements and Gracehaven management operating procedures.

Participate in Staff and Supervisory Meetings

  • Participate in Gracehaven & COYFC all-staff trainings.
  • Meet in person at minimum bi-weekly for supervision in person, via Zoom (web video meeting technology) and/or conference call.

Provide Optional Faith-Based Opportunities

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):

Minimum Education:

  • Associates Degree in Social Services field, Bachelors preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experiences working with at-risk youth and/or survivors of complex trauma.
  • 18 years of older
  • Submit to & Pass a series of Background Checks
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License
  • Agreement with the Central Ohio Youth for Christ and Gracehaven Standards of Conduct and Statement of Faith
