Position Summary

Supervisor: Equip Skills Center Coordinator

GOAL: To work as part of a team to advance the mission and vision of Central Ohio Youth for Christ; as well as learn mechanical skills and assist with the general operation needs of a vehicle repair facility.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Responsible to fulfill Equip Skills Center staff team responsibilities and internship requirements
  • Responsible to fulfill staff administrative duties
  • Responsible to fulfill COYFC spiritual responsibilities

SPECIFIC DUTIES - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing basic inspections
  • Performing diagnostic and automotive repairs under the supervision of a Lead Mechanic
  • Assembling and dissembling parts
  • Cleaning and organizing the shop
  • Supporting sales staff with lot upkeep and detailing of vehicles

COYFC STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly check and promptly respond to work related email
  • Fill out timesheet and turn it in each week
  • Show up ready to work on time
  • Participate in COYFC All-Staff meetings and events each quarter as schedule permits
  • Agree with and abide by YFC Statement of Faith and Standards of Conduct
