Equip Skills Center Intern - Youth For Christ

Position Summary

Supervisor: Equip Skills Center Coordinator

GOAL: To work as part of a team to advance the mission and vision of Central Ohio Youth for Christ; as well as learn mechanical skills and assist with the general operation needs of a vehicle repair facility.

KEY OBJECTIVES

Responsible to fulfill Equip Skills Center staff team responsibilities and internship requirements
Responsible to fulfill staff administrative duties
Responsible to fulfill COYFC spiritual responsibilities

SPECIFIC DUTIES - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performing basic inspections
Performing diagnostic and automotive repairs under the supervision of a Lead Mechanic
Assembling and dissembling parts
Cleaning and organizing the shop
Supporting sales staff with lot upkeep and detailing of vehicles

COYFC STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

Regularly check and promptly respond to work related email
Fill out timesheet and turn it in each week
Show up ready to work on time
Participate in COYFC All-Staff meetings and events each quarter as schedule permits
Agree with and abide by YFC Statement of Faith and Standards of Conduct
