Position Summary

Supervisor: Development Director

Hours: Full Time

GOAL: To advance the social and spiritual mission and vision of Central Ohio Youth For Christ by cultivating donors and solicitation of financial champions to our mission.

KEY OBJECTIVES

● Responsible to manage donor relationships and solicitations of current major donors ($1,000+/yr.)

● Responsible to build relationships with new major donors generated at the Be The Story annual event.

● Responsible to engage lapsed donors to improve donor retention.

● Participate in donor events, community outreach events, and mission-centric events (FFG) to deepen relationships with the community and with YFC donors.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

● Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for acquiring new donor prospects for the capital campaign through networking, events, and personal visits.

● Maintain relationships with current major donors to cultivate and grow their giving.

● Invite prospects to become donors, matching their passion to our opportunities.

● Build a vision for donors to become champions of the mission (PEO Strategy)

● Solicit Corporate Partners for annual Over the Edge fundraising event.

● Play a key role in our See the Story/Be the Story/Champions events across the year to find, win, keep and lift ministry partners.

● Campaigns & Special Projects: Participate as opportunities arise, under direction of ED or DD

● Maintain accurate records of meetings, calls and donor interactions in the CRM, Donor Perfect.

● Participate in monthly Development Team meetings, weekly zoom prayer meetings and quarterly staff meetings.

● Participate in Development Training as available thru YFC USA, Mission Increase, and other sources.

● Regularly pray for and share spiritual content with existing and prospective donors to COYFC
