Key Objectives | Deliberately engage with many Christians to intercede on behalf of the ministry site-prayer must strategically permeate all values, areas, and actions of your daily ministry. Consistently pursue high schoolers and engage them in life-long relationships with Jesus using the following seven Relational Ministry Actions which are Campus Life’s Specialized skill set to move loving relationships forward: · Appointments · Building times · Contacting · Clubs · Small Groups · Student Leadership · Summer Youth Camps Accurately handle Biblical truth, regularly coaching High Schoolers to apply it in their lives. Focus on competent preparation and relevant presentation |
Essential Job | Camp: South Central Minnesota Youth For Christ owns and operates Prairie River Camp—www.prairierivercamp.org. An important part of this job is to be an active participant in planning and executing three weeks of summer camps. |
Fundraising | All Youth For Christ regular full time employees will be given the opportunity to be involved in the Stewardship functions of South Central Minnesota Youth For Christ (hereafter SCMYFC, or YFC.) These opportunities could include fund raising events, circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, and other opportunities as provided. |
Spiritual | Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of SCMYFC is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of YFC be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.
