The 3Story® for Churches Curriculum

While the curriculum was originally developed for YFC Chapter staff familiar with the 3Story® framework to host 3Story® training events for their ministry partners, we believe it stands on its own and are excited to offer it to a wider audience.

We have curated materials specifically for churches in both English and Spanish, including 5 weeks of Facilitator Lesson Plans, PowerPoints, and Participant Guide Pages geared toward a church group/class setting. Each week’s lesson is 75 minutes and incorporates various exercises and discussion questions to help participants begin to live 3Story® for themselves.

The 3Story® for Churches Curriculum includes:

  • Introduction to 3Story®
  • The Heart of 3Story®: Abiding
  • Compelled by Christ’s Love
  • Discovering Stories
  • Inviting Conversations

What is 3Story®?

3Story® is a way of life that guides followers of Jesus to be good news as they share The Good News. It is who we want to be and how we want to live, knowing that if we seek to abide deeply with Jesus every day and stay saturated in His word, we will be ready and aware of the opportunities He gives us to share His Good News.

The 3Story® framework represents how we live in relationship with God and others. The three circles represent God’s story, our own stories, and the stories of others, while the three connection points represent how:

- Our relationship with God grows as we abide in Him and allow His story to transform our stories.
- Our relationships with others grow as we share our stories and discover tie points between their stories and God’s story.
- Others’ relationships with God grow as we invite them to consider how His story can transform their stories.

3Story® comes full circle as others begin to abide in God alongside us.

We invite you to send us your feedback:
