To complete administrative responsibilities related to the Restorative Practices contract, and facilitate training and consultations with participating school sites.
Personal & Spiritual Development
· All YFC employees are expected to:
· Practice discipline of abiding in Christ according to John 15
· Reading leadership, spiritual growth, personal development books, etc.
· Regularly seeking God through prayer & Scripture reading
· Ensure ministry sites & programming model YFC mission, standards, etc.
Restorative Practices Administrative Duties
· Management of RP Team general email account.
· Management of meeting schedules and agendas, including weekly collaboration or team meetings and yearly planning meetings.
· Document management on team SharePoint site, utilizing Excel, Word, and PDF documents. Includes uploading and editing documents and file management.
· Data management and tracking, including, but not limited to school site contacts, contract hours, training hours, and participants.
· Conduct yearly Fall Update Meetings with all school sites (34 total) to address consultation and training needs, identify primary RP contacts, and explore needs for student and staff support.
· Communication with school district staff for a variety of topics, including coordinating training requests or meetings, room scheduling, and providing regular data updates.
· Providing scheduling support and recommendations for school sites on consultation trainings, as well as managing all RP consultant calendars and scheduling trainings on requested or available consultant calendars.
· Assist with preparation work for trainings including, but not limited to sending or printing handouts, scripts, and PowerPoint presentations to school sites and consultants, packing supplies for day-long trainings, and transportation of supplies.
Restorative Practices Consultant Duties
· Engagement and participation in continuing education in Restorative Practices.
· Review and attend full-day seminars, RP 101 and RP 201, as well as multiple workshops to develop knowledge of materials.
· Participate and train portions of contracted trainings for both school sites and district staff, providing an overview of Restorative Practices, and restorative approaches to trauma-informed educational practices.
· Conduct multiple 45 minute – 1 hour workshops throughout the school year at multiple school sites on topics including, but not limited to:
o Managing student behavior
o Techniques for restorative discipline
o Communication and de-escalation techniques
o Restorative conflict resolution
o Restorative parenting
o Trauma-informed practices.
Team Collaboration
· Attendance at weekly RP Team Meetings – Fridays at 10:00AM.
· Attendance at weekly YFC Staff Meetings – Mondays at 9:30AM
· Attend and assist in planning and participating in yearly Summer Planning Meetings.
· Engage in connection with school site teams and staff members, bring concerns, recommendations and needs to RP Team for collaboration.
Knowledge & Skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint, Teams, Publisher.
· Proficient in Adobe Pro and editing/creating PDF documents.
· Good communication skills to collaborate and coordinate with colleagues, school district personnel, and school administrators and site staff.
· Presentation and public speaking skills.
