Position Summary
As a member of the Project department, you play an important role in Youth For Christ USA’s mission to reach young people everywhere.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our national strategic efforts. Through relationships you build, you will enhance communication channels for staff and stakeholders. By creating systems and trainings, you will help staff achieve their goals. You will improve operations by researching and implementing new ways of doing things.
Essential Functions
Supporting Projects Department deliverables by partnering with team members in administrative and operational needs. Including:
Aid the Projects Lead in the creation of Smartsheet related trainings, tools, resources and system enhancements that position staff to effectively serve the mission. Including:
Support supervisors and managers in maintaining realistic work expectations for NSC staff by providing tools to understand their project-based responsibilities and task-list assignments. Including:
Create meaningful connections with Projects Department staff, Strategic Alignment Division staff and staff across the organization to support excellent communication and collaboration. Including:
Spiritual Responsibilities
Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

Fundraising Responsibilities
All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fundraising events, recruiting a personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.
