Position Summary

GOAL: To advance the mission of Central Ohio Youth for Christ, including affiliates and subsidiaries by executing quality events and marketing efforts to contribute to the financial goals and engage new people to learn about YFC. 

KEY OBJECTIVES

Responsible to coordinate core COYFC events (See the Story, Be the Story, Over the Edge, Youth Guidance Golf Marathon, Partner Gatherings, COYFC Christmas Party)

  • Responsible to maintain event systems, schedules, logistics, materials, and communication tools
  • Responsible to support donor & volunteer engagement through organized communication and event follow-up 
  • Responsible to ensure excellent guest experience and ministry representation 

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics, timelines, run-of-show, and project plans for all major events
  • Communicate with venues, vendors, ministry partners, and volunteers
  • Assemble materials, gifts, supplies, and signage as needed
  • Support event budget tracking and vendor invoicing 

Participant & Volunteer Communication

  • Assist with recruiting and communicating with Table Captains, rappellers, golfers, and event partners 
  • Schedule and send event invitations and follow-up 
  • Track RSVPs and prepare attendee lists and materials 

Event Marketing & Creative Material Support

Assist with creating event invitations, signage, email templates, and print pieces 

  • Collaborate with marketing staff and COYFC ministries on student stories and testimonies

Event Execution

  • Onsite support: set-up, guest experience, volunteers, registration and tear-down
  • Serve as point-of-contact day-of event
