The Mission Investment Specialist is a relationship cultivator extraordinaire. A champion for the Youth For Christ USA to acquire new giving partners while building awareness of Youth For Christ’s work through effectively using the processes and practices provided through Youth For Christ’s national development model. This position has the primary responsibility of donor acquisition, developing, growing, and sustaining annual giving as well as lifting mid-major relationships.
Both relationally gifted and motivated by metrics, the Mission Investment Specialist is energized by proactive engagement that leads to seeing a potential giving partner introduced to Youth For Christ’s work, invited to give, and seeing enhanced missional commitment towards stated benchmarks and goals. Additionally, they are motivated by seeing partners become more generous in their ongoing giving, and by seeing lapsed partners re-engage with our mission.
They are involved in the entire process of bringing in new prospects, cultivating relationships that connect them to opportunities for involvement and financial giving and ultimately becoming life-long partners of Youth For Christ.

Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

Fundraising Responsibilities:
Responsible to maintain and grow an (existing) approximately $1M revenue stream in the form of regular giving partners, including through NSC staff “circle of influence” efforts.
All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.
