The position of Retail Associate is at New Way YFC Thrift Store and will interact with the public, process sales transactions, receive donated items, process donations and restock the store. This position will also oversee teen employees, developing them in their skills and mentoring them in their work ethic. There will be opportunities to be involved in direct ministry activities, as New Way is a ministry site for Kalamazoo Youth for Christ. Building relationships with adult and teen volunteers is a key job function.
New Way Team Member Responsibilities:
New Way YFC Thrift Store is a Faith Based store under the direction of Youth For Christ Kalamazoo. All employees are representatives of both of these organizations while working at New Way and will uphold the following standards of conduct.
YFC employees have an opportunity to be commissioned or licensed as a minister of the Gospel through the established Youth for Christ process, and/or ordained by an outside body recognized by Youth for Christ USA.
Credentials Required & Preferred Education:
