Position Summary

Position Summary

As Junior Salesforce Administrator, you will play a vital role at Youth For Christ. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Junior Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a main priority.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning. The Junior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable liaising with users and enjoy learning new business processes in order to translate them into technical solutions.

The Junior System Administrator will work alongside our Senior System Administrator and our vendor partners to design, build and implement solutions. They will report to the Director of Information Management with opportunities to shadow the Senior System Administrator to gain more experience as they work towards increasing Salesforce knowledge and certifications.

Essential Functions

  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  • User support tickets
  • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): flow, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
  • Monitor user adoption
  • User training and creating training materials
  • Bulk data management
  • Management of data archiving and backup policies

Additionally, YFC employees will have an opportunity to be commissioned or licensed as a minister of the Gospel through the established Youth for Christ process, and/or ordained by an outside body recognized by Youth for Christ USA.

Fundraising Responsibilities

All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.

Credentials Required & Preferred Education

  • Training users and creating training materials
  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permission sets, OWD, sharing rules)
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development
  • Active in the Salesforce community

Education & Experience

  • Salesforce product knowledge and 18 months of hands-on administration experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
