Position Summary

GOAL: To provide high quality, trauma-informed & responsive groups for residents.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Provide weekly groups for the residents.
  • Collaboration with the clinical services team to ensure implementation of group content that is
  • trauma informed and responsive.
  • Maintain all compliance standards.
  • Actively participate in supervision & ongoing professional development as outlined by the
  • training plan.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Group Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for weekly groups.
  • Facilitate weekly groups.
  • Complete weekly documentation following the provision of groups.
  • Track, maintain, and procure group resources and inventory.
  • Trauma Informed-Responsive Organizational Culture Requirements:
  • Supports the philosophy, goals, and mission of Gracehaven.
  • Support a trauma informed and responsive team ethos.
  • Utilizes trauma informed/responsive intervention techniques to develop and implement group
  • content.
  • Collaboration with the clinical services team to support implementation of a trauma informed
  • continuum of care.

Compliance Responsibilities

  • Participates in professional development (e.g. training, workshops, conferences, etc.) to maintain
  • professional knowledge and proficiency, as well as the Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
  • necessary to maintain appropriate licensure and credentialing as needed.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation/outcomes data/records.
  • Meets monthly productivity standards for the position if applicable.
  • Participates in program quality improvement activities and maintains quality assurance standards.
  • Strives to maintain positive client and stakeholder satisfaction.

Supervision/Team Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in supervision.
  • Work in conjunction with the Residential Services Director and Clinical Services Director to
  • identify needs and tailor groups.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree
  • Experience: Two (2) or more years providing trauma informed services to youth preferred.
  • Clear background check.
  • Agreement with the Central Ohio Youth for Christ and Gracehaven Standards of Conduct and
  • Statement of Faith.
