Position Purpose
This position exists to help YFC to reach 11-19 year olds with

Direct Admin Work
All administrative preparation and planning to assist the Executive Director on a high level of executing the Capital Campaign.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the ED and ADMIN Leadership to develop and execute an effective plan to pursue completion of the M-DYFC Capital Campaign.
· Administrative Duties to accomplish this such as…
· Setting up Appointments
· Documenting timing, results and follow up
· Aiding in proper communication to potential contributors
· Creating and sending notes of appreciation through the process
· Helping to search for and implement new resources for participation in the campaign
Implement the Five Essentials in your work: Widespread Prayer, Loving Relationships, Faithful Bible Teaching, Collaborative Community Strategy, Adults Who Empower
Leadership Development
We are unable to execute effective student ministry if we ourselves and our leadership teams are unhealthy and not abiding in Christ. The development of you and any of your potential leadership team, and yourself, is vital.
Responsibilities:
•Meet with Executive Director once a week, in person or ZOOM
•Attend training events each year if appropriate
•Observe Abide Time (2 hours) once every other month along with other YFC leaders. Dates are pre-set
Public Relations
In order to do successful youth ministry, it could be vital to engage in relationship and communication with local professionals in your ministry area on behalf of the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
•Direct Connection to Business Leaders
•Researching Company Policies and Contacts for charitable Giving
•Contacting local church leaders to set up appointments for the Executive Director to meet
•Be in communication with the potential parents of students involved in the ministry for potential participation in the Capital Campaign
•Be in touch with local community leaders to set appointments in conjunction with the plan set by you and the Executive Director (town hall, Mayor, supervisors, administrative staff)
•Send a hand-written note to any of these leaders as determined
Fundraising
It takes paid staff and leaders of all capacities to reach and maintain the Capital Campaign set forth by our Executive Director and our Chapter Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
•Processing letters and correspondence for the Capital Campaign
•Set Face to face appointments for Director(s)
•Establish Personal Interaction as possible
•Technology Opportunities (Text, Social Media Platforms, Email)
•Grant Opportunities in conjunction with the YFC ADMIN Team
Administration
Administrative work is necessary to help us see success in direct ministry.
Responsibilities:
•An Email address will be given to you as well as access to our files in the cloud and access to our YFC Leadership
•Update Google calendar at least weekly
•Meet with supervisor on weekly basis
•Update mailing lists and data bases
•Refer to Standards and Best Practices found in the Knowledge Base
