Requirements:

Personal:

  • Be actively growing in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
  • Maintain the standards of a disciple of Jesus Christ in all aspects of your lifestyle.
  • Maintain appropriate relationships with members of the opposite sex.
  • Maintain appropriate sexual boundaries that are consistent with the Bible’s teachings on

abstinence outside of marriage.

  • Maintain an appropriate use of alcohol that is consistent with the Bible’s teachings on

temperance and self-control.

  • Be actively involved in the local Church.

Youth For Christ/City Life:

  • Be faithful and available to fulfill your commitments in YFC/CL ministries.
  • Remain committed for the duration of at least one school year.
  • Remain accountable to YFC/CL ministry staff and leadership.
  • Be faithful in prayer for youth and the YFC/CL ministry.
  • Fulfill all required staff training events in addition to attending ongoing training opportunities.
  • Must be a team player, able to work well with others.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries with ALL students in order to promote a safe environment for

student encouragement and discipleship.

  • Immediately report to YFC/CL supervisor any situation where a student is threatening to hurt

themselves or another, where they are being abused in any way, when a student is involved with

any illegal activity. Also be prepared to contact appropriate authorities/CPS.

Major Duties and Responsibilities at the Sayonara Center

  • Daily cleaning and set up before and after Center
  • Supervise students while Center is open
  • Help organize and lead Holiday events
  • Help supervise and coordinate summer activities

Weekly Hours when school is in session:

Monday 1:30-5:30pm

Tuesday 1:30-5:30pm

Wednesday 1:30-5:30pm

Thursday 1:30-5:30pm

Friday 1:30-5:30pm

Our schedule varies over Holiday breaks. You are required to work a minimum of 8 hours during

school weeklong breaks. You must get your schedule approved by Justin ahead of time.
