The purpose of this position is to mobilize the community to develop personal relationships with lost teenagers that lead to life-changing encounters with Jesus, through which life-long followers of Christ are developed.
The Central Darke County Ministry Teams Leader will reach 11-19 year-olds through three to six ministry sites depending on the number of site leaders in place. The ministry director's first priority will be to build teams by recruiting, empowering, equipping, and encouraging volunteers to grow and minister. Secondarily, the CDC Ministry Teams Leader will participate directly in the ministry to teenagers alongside team members. The CDC Ministry Teams Leader will work alongside other ministry directors within the chapter and will report to the Executive Director.

The CDC Ministry Teams Leader must first possess a vital relationship with Christ that is evidenced by prayer, strong character, and a passion to reach the lost. He/she must have strong leadership and communication abilities in order to mobilize a variety of teams and individuals to reach lost teens. He/she must have a good understanding about teenagers and the culture in which they live. He/she must be able to effectively manage a variety of responsibilities and have the self-discipline to succeed in an independent working environment. Furthermore, he/she must demonstrate a humble and teachable spirit.

Credentials Required & Preferred Education
A bachelor's degree is required and previous professional ministry experience is preferred.
Fundraising Responsibilities
All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, developing relationships between adults in the community and YFC, sending letters and handwritten notes, making personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.
