Position Requirements

Essential Functions:

Ministry Health:

● Learn how to engage in local ministry with lost 11-19 year old's.

● Gain deep community relationships in and around ministry sites.

● Aid in developing current ministry sites' health and growth.

● Potentially collaborate with other Campus Life coordinators and assist with volunteer recruitment.

● Provide ministry resources for weekly activities/programs, assemblies, trips, and events, spearheading or assisting as needed.

● Perform administrative functions (reporting, scheduling, etc.).

●Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible school environment

Ministry Growth:

● Collaborate with the Campus Life Coordinator to develop a vision for ministry expansion.

● Assist in establishing effective ministry in new locations.

Spiritual Responsibilities:

● Seek God’s guidance through prayer and meditation.

● Participate in and lead prayer, devotion, and worship.

● Teach and preach from the Bible, accurately handling Biblical truth.

● Model empathy, humility, and care.

● Be active in a local church.

● Pursue commissioning/licensing/ordination as a minister through YFC or an approved outside body.

Fundraising Responsibilities:

All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in fundraising activities, including inviting others to events, recruiting donors, sending communications, and personally ministering to donor contacts.

Hours:

20-25 hours per week, some travel required. 

Compensation:

$20/hour depending on experience

Benefits:

All employees receive vacation and sick leave

All employees receive mileage reimbursement

All part-time employees receive cell phone reimbursement up to $50/month
