Youth For Christ Vision:

Position Summary:
‘In partnership with Youth For Christ (YFC) Juvenile Justice Ministry (JJM) will develop a relationship with the youth agencies for the purpose of fulfilling the YFC vision and mission inside the various agencies as well as when the youth transition into the community. This position has two different elements that work together: 1) Aftercare Coordinator that works with both Madera Juvenile Hall and Fresno Juvenile Justice Campus, and 2) Group Life Site Director, focusing on group homes that receive youth recently released from a juvenile justice facility.
Job Focus:
Recruit and empower volunteers in order to maintain the health and growth of the Aftercare Strategy for the JJM Team. Specifically, recruiting volunteers who are partnered in a mentor relationship with a youth who has recently been released from a juvenile justice facility.

Working Relationships
Responsible directly to the Group Life Director.
Supervises volunteers.
Interacts with all F/M YFC staff and volunteers.
Compensation Package
$16.50-$17.50/hour. Hourly rate determined by a pay scale and Executive Director.
Benefits as applicable and outlined in the Staff Handbook.
Paid trainings as assigned.

All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.
