Position Summary

The Administrative Support Manager coordinates and provides high-quality, holistic administrative support to the staff of Denver Area Youth for Christ.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office and organizational operations
  • Encourage and facilitate regular communications from staff to their donor base
  • Plan and schedule DAYFC social media and website content and manage social accounts
  • Maintain and track compliance with all organizational deadlines, calendars, systems and digital files
  • Support systems maintenance as needed
  • HR duties (on-boarding/off-boarding staff, benefits)
  • Support projects or tasks as assigned

Position Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Administrative/Executive Assistant experience required or a high aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Must keep detailed records at all times and develop a highly efficient electronic and paper filing system.
  • Must be comfortable learning and utilizing cloud-based systems including Salesforce, Office 365.
  • Work on any special projects as requested with the ability to prioritize and reprioritize.
  • Relationally driven with natural ability to grow and maintain relationships with significant and influential individuals both internally and externally.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to problem solve, focus and analyze situations and data in the face of conflicting priorities and multiple demands while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to listen well, follow directions and work collaboratively with colleagues across many departments and ministries.
  • Self-initiated ability to analyze and improve on operations.
  • Must be comfortable with a high frequency of electronic communication.
  • Must have intermediate/advanced typing and computer skills including: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Mailchimp and general internet knowledge.
  • Servant-leader attitude

Credentials Required & Preferred Education

  • Associates degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Passionate about the mission and vision of Denver Area Youth For Christ
  • Creativity and familiarity with multiple social media platforms 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an office environment or a high aptitude for learning new systems
