Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant coordinates and provides high-quality administrative support to the Executive Team.

Support of Executive Team includes:

  • Facilitate routine communications between departmental staff inclusive of meetings and appointments.
  • Maintains and tracks compliance with all organizational and/or divisional deadlines, calendars, systems and digital files (includes converting paper documents to digital as needed).
  • Actively promotes a healthy and robust culture according to YFC’s Cultural Attributes. 
  • Support systems maintenance as needed
  • Detailed financial reviews as needed
  • Support projects or tasks as assigned
  • Maintain all mailing lists - physical and email
  • Completes mailing of any welcome gifts for donors, volunteers in a regular, timely fashion
  • Assists with monthly newsletter as needed
  • Assists with handwritten communication with volunteers from welcome letter to birthday cards
  • Completes reports as needed
  • Central hub for all prayers lists and prayer teams; communicates with virtual prayer team
  • Maintains inventory for all print items for all ministry locations; reorders as necessary

YFC employees will have an opportunity to be commissioned or licensed as a minister of the Gospel through the established Youth for Christ process, and/or ordained by an outside body recognized by Youth for Christ USA. 

All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts.

Credentials Required & Preferred Education

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an office environment.
